What is a Cereal Bar Cutting Machine?

It can also be known as a muesli bar processing line, the system provides a fully working line for the users from the raw materials to the end product that is ready to meet customers. The machinery is controlled by Siemens PLC and touch screen, the controller of the system is in English and other languages. Let me explain some more about the granola bar forming line machine.

How does the Muesli/Granola Bar Processing Line work?

Firstly, our raw materials undergo the small/large bin batching system (single bin 25L/220L respectively), the capacity of the bins depends on the production your company needs. These bins were grouped in 4.

The 2 left bins in the picture are used to separate the sticky ingredients, for example, dried fruits like strawberries and cranberries through the vibration of ingredients will be discharged from the machinery. The other bins are for ingredients like powder, granules, or liquids. These systems have movable wheels and small movable scales. Thus they could be moved around easily.

Next, there is a movable heat preservation tank, this is a heating system with insulation layers that keeps the syrup warm. And there is a mixing blade to mix our raw ingredients. Picture 1 and 2 are both add-ons to the production system. Both the bin batching and heat tank are made of stainless steel.

Starting from here are our cereal cutting machines, we came to the stage to fill in the ingredients to the system before the cereal bar was pressed. The two sets of pressing rollers are made of food-grade materials. Which is High Molecular Weight (HMW), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) materials, and it is proven for food safety and with a non-sticky function. These rollers could be adjusted to customize the thickness of the product.

After pressing, the system will automatically move on to the cooling tunnel, there will be four fans above the conveyor to cool down the product. The vertical cutter groove is designed to ensure the product is fully cut. On the other hand, a horizontal cutter cuts the end product into smaller pieces continuously without stopping.

Finally, the system will sort out and package your end product, preparing the items ready for sale. The full connection of the different parts of the system is easy to install and disassemble.
