Type 304
It is the most common type of stainless steel that is used in our household appliances. This type of stainless steel contains a higher percentage of nickel. Type 201
It contains lesser nickel, and it is cheaper. Due to the level of nickel contained, it is not as effective when comes to preventing corrosion. However, the higher level of manganese had resulted in Type 201 being one of the strongest types of stainless steel.
